Steven Solie to be AmiWest 2011 Banquet Speaker!

We have had confirmation of our banquet speaker! Steven Solie, professional software developer, Amiga OS team lead developer, Hyperion support forum moderator, and enthusiastic supporter of AmiWest, has agreed to be the AmiWest 2011 Saturday evening banquet speaker. We believe this to be the earliest that we have ever had confirmation of our AmiWest banquet speaker! Thanks for setting the record, Steve!

Among other subjects, he will be speaking on the Hyperion support forum, Amiga OS development roadmap, and the state of Amiga software (and hardware) development.

He has then, somewhat bravely we think, agreed to a Q & A session. For those familiar with AmiWest, this tends to extend long into the evening and in locations other than the banquet hall. We are, of course, encouraging this tradition and hope that you will be present to experience it with us.
