Last year, it was reported that others had made Clarion hotel reservations on travelocity.com that beat our conference rates. It is suggested that others try travelocity and see if the rates beat last year’s show rate of USD$69.00 per night.
As far as show ticket prices are concerned, we are waiting for a response to inquiries made regarding sponsorship of the show. If we can get sponsors, the tickets will be free. This was the situation in ’07, when Individual Computers sponsored us and we were able to offer FREE ADMISSION to everyone.

The Clarion hotel has a name change & is under new managment/sold. The new name is Capital City Hotel near Cal Expo http://www.capitolcityhotel.com/
The cheap travel sites, so far, know nothing of the change, so they all come up with no rooms available. Looks like we might be stuck with the group rate this year.
